Muscle Milk Light

Muscle MilkMuscle Milk is a high performance nutrional product that will help you to recover faster from physical exercise. Muscle Milk promotes very efficient fat burning and helps your body with lean muscle growth. Muscle Milk helps to grow muscle tissue faster than what normal protein or even whey protein can do for your body. While the manufacturer recommends to drink Muscle Milk several times per day, the best time to use it is within 30 minutes after a good workout. At that moment your body needs to refuel and what better than a nutritious drink made of this Muscle Builder. For best results (my personal opinion at least) you can mix with some regular 2% Milk or even with Soy Milk.

Of course Muscle Milk does not come in liquid form when you order it. It comes as a powder (like Whey Protein or other Proteins would) and you mix your MM drink with 2 scoops. That’s why I mentioned earlier that this goes extremely well with real milk or Soy milk. Definitely worth trying. I usually take 1/3 water and 2/3 milk for the liquid part of this muscle drink.

If you are trying to build up more muscle without gaining too much weight (well, muscle tissue is more heavy than fat – keep that in mind) I prefer the Muscle Milk Light edition which comes with over 40% fewer calories. This is a great alternative and really helps to burn fat through your workouts and not to regain it right after. The light version tastes great in my opinion and I prefer it over Whey Protein that has the same flavor – but this is my personal opinion. Muscle Milk has the real milk shake taste and goes easy on your stomach. As you can imagine, I’ve tried a lot of protein over the years and this is by far the best tasting out there. Not to mention is also mixes very easily.

Here is a link to my favorite flavor.

Conclusion: Muscle Milk is a great alternative to normal proteins. It makes a great post workout shake and has the real milk shake taste. It mixes well, too.
