Almost a year ago I started running and have been sticking to it ever since. I have worked out before that as well, but since April 2008 running has made the majority of my workouts. I started as a treadmill runner, but due to a trip in December I was “forced” to run outside as there was no Gym available where I was. I bought some extra running pants and thermo-wear at that time and it turns out it was a great investment. I have become kind of addicted to running outside. So far I have been running outside in rain, snow, freezing temperatures, very breezy conditions, and of course sunshine. I know I was swearing and complaining more than once when rain hit or the wind took my breath away because it was blowing so hard into my face that breathing was almost impossible, but at the end of each run I felt glad that I did it. People look at you as if you were crazy being outside at certain weather conditions, but I don’t care. They do not what they are missing …
So, I am runner.
How about you?
