Do you want to build up more muscle mass? You are not alone. Increased efforts to build up muscle usually result in significant fat loss at the same time. But building up more muscle mass is quite a difficult task. Without the right guidance it will be very difficult for you to do so. You have to find the right balance of the intensity level of your fitness workouts, choose the right diet and allow your body to rest in sufficient amounts. Once this plan is designed and strictly followed, only then you will eventually be able to gain the muscle mass you are looking for. I have to say eventually as everyone is different and there are many more factors that come into play when it comes to fat loss and muscle gain.
The golden rule to follow is that it depends on the intensity of your workout compared to the volume of exercise you do to reach your goals. Your goal should not be lose weight or gain weight, your goal needs to be to increase the basic muscle mass of your body. A gain in weight alone is not enough unless you can controll 100% that the gain is coming from muscle mass and not from fat.
So, to move forward monitor your food intake and design a solid diet plan before starting the muscle building workout. The diet needs to contain some fats in the food groups + you should probably consider the intake of some extra protein shortly after each work out (I personally prefer this Whey Protein). Proetin is an important factor to build up new muscle mass as you probably know. Then develop a workout plan that is build upon high intensity of the workouts and less on specific repitions.
I will publish more articles in regards to the topic of building up more muscle mass here shortly.
