Nike Dri Fit Clothing is Awesome

I am runner. I run between 25-30 miles per week on average. It’s fun and it gets me away from all the noise and stress in my life. I even run outside when it is cold and snowy. While the first mile is a little chilly when the temperatures are around 5 or 10 degrees Fahrenheit, after that it is all fun and well worth the first mile. However, you will need proper clothing and about 2 years ago I switched to Dri Fit clothing of Nike. It is a little more expensive, but well worth the investment. And even better – these running clothes work well for other kind of activity as well.

Last Monday I went skiing. I live about 90 minutes away from several ski resorts in Colorado. Me and some friends went up there for a nice day on the slopes. I wore my Nike Dri Fit running pants on the way up and then just put on my regular ski pants on top of the running pants. The good thing is when you ski it is a good workout and you sweat a lot (at least I do). With the dri fit clothing the pants do not feel wet and so I do not get cold. The same thing works with the Nike Dri Fit Shirt of mine. It’s great for running and great for skiing.

So, the investment when settling on Nike Dri Fit clothing was a great decision for me. The clothes work for so many sports activities – it is awesome.

The Squats

As a power lifter, I spend the majority of my time in the gymnasium coaching with the categorical point of getting stronger ; other aspects like getting more muscled, losing subcutaneous fat, getting fitter and more flexible are just a secondary consideration. As the game of power lifting is reliant on 3 exercises – the bench press, the dead lift, and the squat – I spend the bulk of my energy on those lifts.

If you are merely a standard trainee looking at getting into shape, you need to also spend time performing those 3 exercises, as they give the most reward for the time you spend performing them.

In particular, the squat is known by some as the absolute best exercise that may be performed. As it is a compound exercises that recruits the muscles related to your hip, knee and ankle, it is largely a full body exercise, and you’ll see muscled gains in your quads, hamstrings, erectors, traps and calves. Considering this, the squat also enables you to burn a huge quantity of calories an hour, and is a way to burn off blubber. Other great advantages of squatting include building up your core muscles ( abdominals and obliques ) to a degree beyond any other exercise, improving your immune response, making your body create more testosterone and bettering the capacity and potency of your cardiovascular system. Before beginning to squat for the 1st time, ensure you consult a pro, who teach you the proper form and technique! It is of vital importance that you remember that irrespective of how much you would like to get stronger, you never break form, and also maintain good posture when squatting.

The Power of having the Right Running Shoe

Today I ran the 4th 10K in a row during this week and my legs are feeling great. Compared to last week that is a difference like between night and day for me. What happened? Well, I got new running shoes – that’s what happened. I usually have to replace my running shoes every 4-5 months, but the last 4 months were just a dragg. Instead of buying the shoe I was comfortable with, I opted for a model one level above of what I had. And that was a mistake. The shoe never performed as advertised and running was just painful – especially when running on pavement or concrete.

So, 2 weeks ago I finally bought new shoes and I went back to the roots. I bought the Nike Air Pegasus 25 for really cheap money. It was dirt cheap because the store was now also displaying the Nike Air Pegasus 26 – the new model of the same show. The number stands for the year of how long this model is already produced. Nike improves it more or less each year and it is a great running shoe.

The link below will take you to Amazon where you can find the Nike Air Pegasus for men and women. Great shoe. Buy it and try it and let me know what you think.
